KKing coconut (Cocos nucifera) is a variety of coconut, native to Sri Lanka where it is known as Thembili (Sinhala: තැඹිලි). Sweeter than regular coconuts, there are several sub varieties of the king coconut-the most common being the "red dwarf" (kaha thambili, commonly referred to as gon thambili). The other variety is "ran thambili", a smaller variety containing about forty nuts in a bunch. The king coconut tree is shorter than coconut trees, and are found commonly growing wild in many areas of the country. Coconut water also provides other key minerals such as calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and phosphorous. Coconut water also contains vitamin C and some vitamins of the B-complex such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate and vitamin B-6.

Oregano is a flowering plant in the mint family. It is native to temperate Western and Southwestern Eurasia and the Mediterranean region. Oregano is a perennial herb, growing from 20–80 cm tall, with opposite leaves 1–4 cm long. The flowers are purple, 3–4 mm long, produced in erect spikes. Oregano is available fresh, or dried for cooking, and oregano oil can be used to treat infections. Possible medicinal uses of oregano include treating respiratory tract disorders, gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, menstrual cramps, and urinary tract disorders.

Edible-Marigold – both French marigolds (Tagetes patula) and African marigolds (T. erecta) produce flowers that are technically edible. African marigold flowers are used as a food colorant in Europe, but have only been approved for use as a poultry feed additive in the US. However, T. tenuifolia has a refreshing citrus, lemony flavor, and its petals work well torn into salads or smart drinks.

Rosmarinus officinalis, commonly known as rosemary, is a woody, perennial herb with fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves and white, pink, purple, or blue flowers, native to the Mediterranean region. It is a member of the mint family Lamiaceae, which includes many other herbs. The herb not only tastes good in culinary dishes, such as rosemary chicken and lamb, but it is also a good source of iron, calcium, and vitamin B-6.Rosemary was traditionally used to help alleviate muscle pain, improve memory, boost the immune and circulatory system, and promote hair growth

Basil, also called great basil or Saint-Joseph's-wort, is a culinary herb of the family Lamiaceae. Basil is native to tropical regions from central Africa to Southeast Asia. It is a tender plant, and is used in cuisines worldwide. As a good source of magnesium, basil promotes blood flow. As a good source of Vitamin A it promotes healthy eyesight, and because of eugenol (a major component of the oil produced by basil's leaves) it has also been shown to be an effective anti-inflammatory in the same vein as aspirin and ibuprofen.
